In order to attract and cultivate talent, guided by the basic idea of “putting people first”, COAMC aims to build a reasonable human resource structure that features “respect, encouragement, training and achievement”.
 
By the end of 2013, COAMC has hired nearly 40,000 people with an average age of 38.7. Of all these employees, about 4,500 have intermediate or senior professional titles, accounting for 12% of the total staff members. Over 2500 are carrying qualifications for lawyers, CPAs, certified appraisers, sponsor representatives for securities etc. Most of the employees have qualification for different professions such as securities, banking, accounting and insurance underwriting and so on.
 
In 2013, COAMC continues its effort in institutional-building for stronger human resource support by adjusting the personnel makeup, improving the professional level of the staff, and attracting more young people. It recruited over 80 college graduates from China’s top universities such as Tsinghua University and Peking University to inject fresh blood into the COAMC system. We also hired more than 30 experienced marketing experts to secure human resource support for the shareholding reform and COAMC’s sustainable development.
 
COAMC gives priority to investment in human resource by upgrading the knowledge structure of its employees. It organized 259 training sessions in 2013 with 13,030 participants, which means nearly all employees have taken part. Striving for better management, we had 5 training programs for senior and middle management with 328 participants in the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University and Fudan University. COAMC also provided effective comprehensive training for 150 newly-recruited employees.
